As an associate producer of audiobooks at Simon & Schuster in New York City, Hana Matsudaira reads more than 100 books every year across genres, leads productions from casting to credits, and directs renowned authors, acting legends, and up-and-coming narrators. At work, she’s been described as both “sophisticated and scrappy” with an appetite for adventure.

Hana grew up in Singapore, studied English Literature and Chinese at Middlebury College, then headed straight to New York for an internship at TED Conferences.

Outside of work, Hana reads even more, scouts NYC’s best bites, and plans her travels. In 2026, she hopes to finish her play and do a pull up.
